April 2010

April 2010

We had some adventures out with friends. We went to the Discovery Gateway for the first time and it was awesome! Nathan loved playing with all the pretend food and shopping carts.
The Aquarium
It was small and prefect for Nathan. We got to see fish, sharks, penguins and even touch a sting ray. James loved looking at all of the bright colored fish too.

The big boy bed!
We finally switched Nathan to a big boy bed. I wasn't too excited about it because it meant making our already ridiculous bedtimes even harder. But Nathan was really excited about it especially because he knew he wasn't stuck in a crib anymore. The first couple of nights were really ruff late nights but it all worked out and it is so fun to see Nathan growing up into a big boy!

You have to build your bed at our house (:
Nathan is helping Daddy build his bed. We decided to just make one and that way we could decide how high and long it would be. Nathan is always ready to help dad with projects, goggles and all so this was really fun for both of them.

March 2010

Celebrating Birthdays!
Our family has a lot of birthdays in the winter months and that includes Ryan's in March and mine in January. The boys loved helping celebrate. Nathan helped decorate the cake, blow out the candles and open presents. James was happy to sit back and take it all in.

Just a cute picture of the boys together. I saw these shirts and of course I had to get them.

Our Family on James' Blessing Day

James looked so cute in his special blessing outfit.

Nathan was always so sweet to James. He loved hugging him and giving him kisses.

Proud Mommy!
It was such a special day for our family. Both grandparents were there. We enjoyed being together as a family and James received a beautiful blessing from his Father.

James loves to be held and to be a part of things.

We had a Hogle Zoo pass and spent a lot of time bundling up and going with our friends.
Arya and Nathan are the best of buddies and loved running around the Zoo together.

Nathan loves trying on our shoes. I can't help but smile when I see this picture.

We took Nathan sledding for the first time. He LOVED it and we had so much fun together.

Nathan's Dentist Visit
He did amazing, he was so comfortable and climbed right in the chair. He let the dentist look at his teeth and everything looked great!
We visited the dentist again this year and it was a whole different story. He was terrified and barely let him look in his mouth.
James had his first check-up and while he was a little unsure at first he let the dentist check his teeth. He got a cool little teether toothbrush that he loves to play in the sink with.

We are Back....

It is a new year! The year 2010 went by so fast. We have watched James grow and change from a sweet little baby to a busy bustling boy and Nathan from a very curious little guy into a big boy who know what he wants. Our family has had many happy memories. We feel so blessed to be where we are at and are excited to see what 2011 brings!

I am going to attempt to catch up our blog and one of my new years resolutions is to keep it updated. (:

Where does the time go?

Obviously it has been awhile since our last post. Our two little boys have been keeping us very busy. But we are back.

Our family has been so blessed because of these two little guys. James is a wonderful addition to our family. He is growing so fast and trying to keep up with his big brother. He is very mellow, sweet and smiley. What more could you want? We are really enjoying him. He is now 7 months and growing so fast. We love him so much and he really completes our family (for now) (:

Nathan is gone from a busy toddler to a grown up little boy. He is loving life and we are having so much fun. He speaks very well and it is so funny to hear some of the things he comes up with. He loves to swim, play in his sandbox, mow the lawn like Daddy and play cars. He is an awesome big brother and so sweet to James.

A lot has happened in the last 7 months and we have had many happy memories. Life moves so quickly and we are trying to cherish all the small sweet moments that go along with raising children.

He loves wearing his tie to church just like Daddy.

Our sweet James.
This picture always puts a smile on my face.
He inherited one of my dimples and the long lashes just like Nathan.
He is such a happy little guy.
