In May the boys and I took a trip to San Diego. We flew and both boys did great! Nathan had his own little rolling backpack that he rolled all through the airport. You could tell he felt so grown up. It was so cute. James did great too for his first time flying.
The best part about having family there is that we always have a fun place to visit. We didn't get to go at Christmas so this was the first time for James. He got to meet a lot of his family and we had a wonderful time together. We went to the Wild Animal Park with G&G Moehle and to Sea World with Grandma Marla and Aunt Kizzy. We played at parks, went to the beach, played all day and got to see all of our families. We loved our trip and we miss San Diego!

Napping at Grandma's

James loved the Grandma houses and all the new toys to explore.

Grandpa and Nathan flying a kite at Hilltop park. Our favorite place to go and it is actually the place Ryan proposed. (:

Dinner with Grandpa Rich and Grandma Bonnie

James first time to the beach! It was a little cold so no toes went in the ocean yet.

We went to Torrey Pines Beach for a Primary Activity (both Grandmas were in the Stake Primary). We got to go for a little hike and make sand castles. It was so fun! Too cold for swimming though.

At the Shark Encounter at Sea World with Aunt
Kizzy. Nathan LOVES anything about sharks so he was so excited to go see real sharks. He couldn't stop talking about it for weeks before the trip. We went through the Shark Encounter twice and Grandma even got him some
souvenirs to take home that became some of his treasures. He keeps all of his little treasures in his Toy Story backpack that he rolled all through the airport. Also in the backpack is all of his plastic play food that we got before the trip. He loved it. Luckily I was able to convince him that it should probably stay at home so their was plenty of room for all of the fun San Diego treasures.

The Wild Animal Park with G&G
MoehleWe had so much fun. We saw a bird show, rode on the train, saw all kinds of fascinating animals, played on the playground forever and even walked like a gorilla with Grandma.
