The day after Christmas we packed up the car and headed to San Diego for a little Christmas vacation to see our families.
Traveling with two busy boys is quite the adventure and makes for a long trip. Thankfully we had upgraded to a bigger car. After months and months of research and consideration and a lot of thinking we got a Toyota Highlander on Christmas Eve. It is such a beautiful car and I LOVE it! Everyone asked us if it was for Christmas but really we just wanted it before we had to make our trip to SD. Santa had brought us some DVD players for the boys and with all the extra room we were quite comfortable. On the way Nathan made sure that our car didn't stay too new by throwing up. He had gotten a little car sick and all told me it was coming. Thankfully quick action contained everything but we had to laugh later because that never happened in our old little Camry.
We made it to San Diego safe and sound and feel so blessed to have our new car.
I also just want to say thank you to our good old green Camry. It was Ryan's car all throughout college, the Camry was there for the first of our marriage and our first two kids. The Camry was an awesome, reliable car and treated us well. It certainly was there for a lot of memories and it was a little sad to see it go. We hope to love our Highlander just as much too.
